(01) Creative Direction Concept

Cara is heavily inspired by nature in her photography, so her brand had to reflect this natural aesthetic whilst still looking clean and professional.

A collage of nature and emotional connection theme with flowers, a person with red hair lying on grass, a forest, and photographs, with color swatches in black, green, light green, white, beige, and tan.

(02) Logo Suite

The logo suite featured a hand-drawn daisy and a wordmark logo inspired by the forms of a plant growing.

  • "I had Tara create a website for my photography as well as do my branding. I absolutely loved what she created for both! When discussing both the branding and website it was like she could read my mind and just got the vision (and made my ideas even better) ,she was great to work with and designed a website that I love that aesthetically looks amazing but is also easy to navigate I had been procrastinating for years on creating a website and realised without someone who is talented and trained in web and branding it was never going to happen and I am so glad I chose Tara! I have had loads of compliments on it since and my business and clients have massively increased and I think a big part of this is having cohesive branding and a brilliant website ,would highly recommend."

I picked out lots of greens from Caras photography and complemented these with golds, pinks and yellows.

(03) Colour Palette

Color palette chart with eight circles: darkest green, green, beige, sage green, pink, dark gold, dark orange, and yellow, each labeled with CMYK, RGB, and HEX color codes.
A graphic design layout with dark background, large green text 'Cara', and subheading 'Portrait photography inspired by nature' in light green, with additional text blocks labeled 'Headline', 'Subheading', and 'Body copy' in different font styles and colors.

The typeface chosen is reminiscent of a plant growing wildly, featuring curved letterforms that together combine to create a bold feel. Futura off-sets this by being clean, crisp and legible.
