Hi, I’m Tara!

I’ve been running Studio Mac for the the past 4 years now, but prior to that I worked in both in-house and agency environments for over 9 years.

During my time in employment I worked with some of the world’s biggest brands - gaining essential skills and experience on what exactly makes a brand stand out and stick around for the long term.

In my spare time I have many varied and time-consuming hobbies which include: rock climbing, knitting, cooking, photography, going to the cinema and spending time with friends + family.

Values

I’m talking classic fonts and not paying attention to trends. I want to make sure your investment is going to stand the test of time.

MINIMALISM

SUPPORTIVE

Because my projects are clearly mapped out with what to expect and when, your hand is effectively held through the creative process.

PRACTICAL

Each project is off-boarded with clear brand guidelines + editable templates, and websites are suplied with a 1 hour recorded Zoom tutorial on how to update it yourself.

PROCESS DRIVEN

I set out clear timelines + expectations for every project I undertake as I find it helps keeps everyone accountable and on-track.

PLAYFUL

If you book a project with me expect the outcome to have an element of character and personality to it.

I have no interest in working with businesses that are openly racist, sexist, homophobic or are disrespectful of others spiritual faiths/beliefs.

  • I’ll be honest: it’s always a risk, but I do my best to minimize it. Each step of the design process involves gathering feedback from you before moving onto the next stage, with two rounds of feedback at each stage. This gives us lots of time to course correct and refine should things be moving off-course in a way that you don’t like.
